how to evolve togepi in Pokemon platinum?

i have a togepi it is now level 14 it is don't want to evolve it have a sooth bell and i feed it so much it don't want to evolve hlep!

most of the answers are wrong. you do not need the happiness to be maxed out. you need two hearts. not big. just two hearts. how do you accomplish that? first, give him a soothe bell. it will not double the effects of whatever you use, it will just add a point. it means, 256 steps raise the happiness by one point. the soothe bell will raise it by two, etc. second. give him massages. third, give him vitamins. forth (and how i do it). the moment it hatches, feed him the EV berries. these berries raise the happiness but lower the EVs. you'll need about 25 of them. just be careful to keep one of each kind, in case you do this again. i cannot say their names, cause my version is in Italian. also, do this when togepi is newborn, cause at that time it has no Evs at all, so it's safe. p.s. also don't let it faint. and don't deposit it.

well, u have to max out its happiness, so dont let it faint or get a status problem, feed it its favourite type of food and u have to level it up 1 level when its happiness is maxxed out in order for it to evolve into togetic and then use a shiny stone on togetic to make it become togekiss

mine evolved at lv. 24 it needs 2 friendships not big hearts and it has to grow a lv. once it has the 2 hearts it should evolve

If you get the happiness checker app., then you can see how close you actually are. Fedding it poffins also won't to much good unless it is the flavor that it likes and it will worsen if it is the flavor it doesn't like. Massages in Veilstone help happiness, but happiness of the pokemon will increase more if you give it a massage at the ribbon society in the resort area. If it is lvl 14 then you might not have too much time left until it likes you enough. Good luck on your togetic.

you have to make it happy, just take it to 2 massages and give it poffins, all I did was give it 3 ribbons, and 2 massages in one day along with some poffins and it evolve at lvl 2, you can get a massage at vielstone city I think, its the house right next to the pokemon gym, and one at that ribbon club or society, something like that, its all the way up north in the resort area, just look up the massages on youtube, and right when vyou evolve it, you just need to use a dawn stone to evolve it to the next evolution...

first you need to max out its happiness by not letting it faint and not letting it get a status problem such poison or burned and feed it its favorite food like if it says spicy food feed it spicy poffins. then all you have to do is train it 1 level when its happiness is maxed out and it should evolve into togetic and then you can give it a shiny stone and make it evolve into a togokiss
