Best Answer:

You can buy sheets of foam at fabric stores that are used mostly for upholstery. They come in different widths. You can cut them into the shapes you need and either cover them in fabric or paint them. Covering them in fabric will look better. You don't need to sew them either, you can use fabric glue but be careful with the seams and try to keep them neat. If you decide to paint them use spray paint. It will go on a lot easier and save you tons of time. You can use masking tape when painting on the details. To attach them, hook the tail onto a belt and the ears onto a head band. It should be very easy. I've made parts of costumes from foam before and it is generally cheap and quick. Here's a pretty good picture, you can see his tail well. http://smashbros.planets.gamespy.com/ssbb/images/pikachu.jpg

hmm, maybe you could paper mache the structure and cover in with yellow material, and do the same for the ears, but stick it onto a head band or something and if all else fails, ebay is pretty darn handy hope this helps ^___________^ oh, heres a picture http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o20/dollamilk/pikachu-1.jpg
