In pokemon, how do you teach steelix fire/thunder/ice fang?

I have a level 12 onix and im in eterna forest. I know i need to evolve onix with a metal coat and trade it, and i will do that later. How do you teach the steelix fire/thunder/ice fang though?

There's a site that shows all moves that they learn while they level up, just find the link of the game you have, and click on steelix. serebii.net

Use a action replay or get it to lvl 100 and then it might be able to learn those moves. Good luck, and i hope this helps!

Do you want Fire, Thunder, AND Ice Fang??? If so, you need 3 Heart Scales. Once you get to Pastoria City, talk to the Move Tutor and he can teach them to your Steelix. Sadly, Steelix doesn't learn those moves by leveling up. It's like, my Rapidash knows Poison Jab, a move it can only learn through the Move Tutor.

In Eterna City, you will meet a man that will give you the Explorer Kit, he is to the right of the Pokecenter. Go underground and dig around until you find a Heart Scale, after you get a Heart Scale you can take that to a guy in Pastoria City and he will teach it one of the moves. You will need three Heart Scale to teach all the Elemental Fangs. The guy in Pastoria is in a house that has a lot of books laying around on the inside. Outside will be a guy standing infront of it near some water saying he is in the smack dab middle of the town.

You will need 3 heartscales which you can find by going underground. Go to Pastoria city and go to the move tutor. He will teach your steelix fire/thunder/ice fang in return for the 3 heartscales!
