Laptop displays load error and will not start?

My laptop has Windows XP installed and it won't start up just has display of load error and my son was on my laptop when this happened. I tryed to enter a key and nothing, I tried the install dics to reboot and nothing. I am out of options except to pay a repair shop 350.00 again.

Can you trying pressing F8 during startup and get into safe mode and try to do a system restore?

Read the Laptop User Manual.to learn more about changing the "Boot Sequence" and how to do a factory fresh Windows Recovery. Then, insert the Recovery CD in the drive, turn on your PC and follow the prompts.
