is the new ASUS eeepc notebook capable of running - dota - frozen throne, guitar pro and counterstrike?

The eee can actually run games SURPRISINGLY well. it can run half Life 2, GTA Vice City and dozens of other games with XP, though you will want to look into getting more space. A Transcend 8 GB SD card can be had for inside of 50 dollars, might want to get one of those. http://wiki.eeeuser.com/list:games This is an exhaustive list of games that have been tested. Counterstrike 1 seems to run, but due to the 800x480 resolution of the eeepc has a problem with vertical scrolling, so I'd count that as a no. It looks like the others haven't been tested yet - but check youtube. There are lots of videos of people's eee's playing Half Life 2 and other very demanding games - I'd say that it probably could!

wouldnt it be easier to just look at the laptop and the specs? have you seen the tiny screen and the 800 x 600 resolution? EDIT: Buddy, this thing has 4 GB of hard drive space before installing an OS. How much room does XP take up 1 GB? So you have maybe 3 gb of storage left to install all those games? And i doubt the graphics card can handle it. Plus why would you want to run any of those programs with that video card and at 800x600 resolution?
