I need a metal coat so i can evolve my Onix into a Steelix

after you get the national dex go to the house on the iron island a gym leader will be in their and will talk and give you it

After you beat the elite 4 and get the National Pokedex go back to Iron island via the ship from Canalave City. Go into a house and the person who lives there will give you a Metal Coat. The guy that lives there is Byron the Gym Leader in Canalave City.
